Updating Principles and Mode of College Education during the Phrase of Mass Higher Education

中国高等教育发展到今天的大众化阶段,是一项可喜可贺的成就。但由此也引发了一系列的问题,其中最为明显的就是日益庞大的毕业生队伍与相对不足的社会就业需求之间的矛盾。这引起了整个社会对于大学教学模式和教学方法的重新认识。

The transformation of Chinese higher education from the elite education of nearly one hundred years to the mass education of today marks a quite new stage as well as a very great achievement of the progress of the Chinese modernization. However, a series of problems are brought about by such a rapid transformation, especially the incongruity between the rapid increase of the number of the college graduates and the relative deficiency of the employment demand. Such a congruity provokes a renewal of the all the Chinese society＇s perceptions towards the educational approaches as well as the pedagogies employed by its higher education.
