性爱是西方文学中一个十分重要的主题。西方文学中性爱主题的嬗变过程,与西方社会文化发展存在着内在的互动关系。西方性爱文学嬗变过程折射出西方社会文化生活的变化,同人的主体地位的发展变化有着强烈的呼应。对西方文学中性爱观念嬗变过程的考察可发现,在西方社会发展中存在着从人的性压抑、性解放到性伦理的回归这样一个曲折的过程。

Sexual love is a very important theme in western literature. There is an interactive relationsh between the development of sexual theme in western literature and the development of western society. The development of western literature on sexual love reflects the life changes of western society, and echoes the change of human＇s subject status. The thesis makes a study of the development and changes the concept of sexual love in western literature. It shows that an evolutionary process from sexu constraint, sexual emancipation to sexual ethic return does exist in western literature.
