摘要
采用片外谐振网络和多VCO的结构设计了一个宽带CMOSVCO，并采用一种新型的电荷泵式自动幅度控制电路，确保了VCO在整个带宽内的可靠性。基于Chartered0．25弘mCMOS工艺的测试结果表明．该VCO的频率能够覆盖75-900MHz，单边带相位噪声最佳值达到了-92dBc／Hz@10kHz。
This paper presents a wideband CMOS VCO for digital TV tuners. The oscillator adopts a multi-VCO structure and an off-chip tank. In addition, a new charge-pump automatic amplitude control circuit is used to ensure the reliability of the VCO. The VCO is implemented in 0, 25 μm CMOS process. The test results show that the tuning range covers 75-900 MHz, and the best SSB phase noise achieves-99, dBz/Hz at 10 kHz offset.
