新世纪的文明,是一种生态学意义上的高级文明形态,是一种生存本位的智慧表达,它所体现的是人与自然关系的价值体验与深层觉悟;在当代生态文化视野中,重建人与自然关系的最好方式和最积极的努力,就是建立一种生态——“绿色文明”的世界观,这意味着必须从根本上转换人类是自然界主宰者的角色,谋求并实现人与自然共存共荣、互利互惠的协调发展;作为一种生态智慧,这种努力表现为通过对人与自然关系的提升,扩展为一种新的世界观,再由一种世界观落实为一种新的价值观,并由此引导主体自觉追求生态觉悟,树立生态道德观,建设一种新的社会文明,倡导一种新的生存与价值体验方式。

The civilization of this new century is an advanced form of civilization in the ecological sense. It is a wise expression with existence as the ultimate goal, representing the value experience and deep awareness of the relationship between man and nature. Within the scope of contemporary ecological culture, the best way of rebuilding the relationship between man and nature is to establish a kind of ecological or ＂green civilization＂ worldview. It means that man＇s role as the master of nature must be changed fundamentally through people＇s effort to realize harmonious development with man and nature＇s coexistence and mutual benefits. As a kind of ecological wisdom, the effort will be developed into a new worldview through people＇s bettering of the relationship between man and nature. This worldview will change into a new value which will lead subjects to pursue ecological lawareness conscientiously, to establish ecological morals, to build a new social civilization and to advocate a new way of existence and value experience.
