史学传统的现代转换的必要性和实现途径

我国史学资治鉴戒的教化和求真求实的实证传统,作为优秀的史学遗产是当前史学发展的基础。但是,当前史学发展存在种种问题可能与我们对我国那些优良史学传统抱残守阙,没有对这些优良传统进行现代转换并赋予它们符合时代要求的现代意义有一定关系。因此,中国古代史学传统有必要在拓宽研究范围和研究主题,贴近现实生活等方面进行现代转换。值得注意的是,在转换过程中不能失去史学的学术品格和自身的位置。

As a kind of excellent historical heritage, the moralization of historical mirror for aid of government and the practical tradition of matter-of-fact attitude are the base for the development of Chinese historiography. But the problems revealed may be concerned with the conservative attitude towards these excellent historical heritages without any modernistic transformation and meaning vested to meet the needs of the present age. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the study range and theme of ancient historical tradition, and conduct modernistic transformation to make it close to real life. In the course of abstraction, we should bear this in mind that the academic dignity and position of historiography should not be neglected.
