Diagnosis and Cure of Racoon Dog Salmonella Disease

2006年夏季郓城某貉场,突然发生不明原因的疫病,引起大批幼貉死亡及妊娠母貉流产、产弱仔和死胎。为查明病因,进行了流行病学调查、临床症状观察、病理剖检及实验室检查等,最后确诊为由沙门氏菌引起的一起貉疫病。根据细菌学检查和药敏试验结果,提出了有效防制措施。经治疗,取得了较好的效果。

Raccoon dogs of a farm in Yuncheng broke out one kind of disease without distinct reason in 2006 summer, which led many young raccoon dogs to die, pregnancy raccoon dogs to abort ,stillbirth and weak newborn animal to birth. In order to find out the reason of the disease, epidemiological investigation, clinical symptom observation, pathological dissection and laboratory detection had been carried out. At last the Salmonella disease was diagnosed. According to the results of bacteriological detection and susceptibility test, effective prevention measures were taken. After clinical application, the disease was effectively cured.
