摘要
模糊限制语作为模糊语言的一个重要组成部分,在交流过程中起着重要的作用。科技英语作为一种特殊语体要求用词准确,一般说来,行文严谨,但仍然常常会使用一些模糊语言。模糊限制语在科技英语语体中有其产生的特殊原因,为实现其相关的语用功能,模糊限制语在科技语体中被大量运用。
Hedges play an important role in communication as a part of the fuzzy language. Sci-tech English, a special kind of style, requires in general the accurate words and the well-knit line. However, there do exist some hedges and fuzzy language in it. The general employment of hedges in Sci-tech English has its own reasons and realizes some related pragmatic functions.
