奥地利大学英语教学的特色及其对我们的启示

The features of college English teaching in Austria and their enlightenment on us

介绍了奥地利维也纳经济大学的英语教学状况,并得出几点对我国英语教学的启示:合理采用交际法教学确有必要;搞好师资培训,是提高外语教学质量的关键;应构建外语教学一条龙体系,使大、中、小学的外语教学相衔接。

This paper is based on some observations and reflections on ELT in Vienna University of Business and Administration when the author was studying in Vienna as a visiting scholar, mainly discussing ELT status quo in the university. In comparison, this paper states the significance of communicative teaching approaches, proposing some good suggestions on how to improve ELT in China.
