摘要
利用光通信系统设计平台,研究了一种基于直接调制激光器和非零色散位移光纤(NZDSF)的高速粗波分复用(CWDM)系统的优化方案。通过软件的参数优化和扫描计算等独有功能,着重分析了光纤色散对高速直接调制信号的影响,比较并证实了NZDSF的CWDM升级方案的可行性。研究发现,负色散系数的光纤与光脉冲啁啾相互作用能更好地改善传输质量。
A new scheme for optimization of coarse wavelength-division-muhiplexing(CWDM) system based on directly modulated lasers(DMLs) and non-zero dispersion shifted fibers(NZDSF) is proposed. By means of the unique functions (e. g. parameter optimization and iteration sweep) of the optical system design software,the dependence of transmission performance of directly modulated 10 Gb/s signals on fiber dispersion is studied. It's proved it's feasible to upgrade CWDM system with the proposed scheme. The results indicate that CWDM network could be implemented cost-effectively by using the negative dispersion fiber and DMLs.
