功能目的论与实用翻译教学

Skopos Theory and Practical Translation Teaching

与传统的“等效”、“等值”等翻译观相比,功能目的论的优越性日渐突出。随着我国的经济发展和社会进步,实用翻译任务面广量大。翻译工作不再是“为翻译而翻译”,即目标不一定是制造一个与原文对等的另一种语篇,而是在于达到预定的效果。有鉴于此,我们主张,实用翻译教学在理论上主要应以功能目的论为指导。

Compared with traditional Translation theory of ＂equal effect＂ and ＂equal value＂, the advantage of Skopos theory strikes out gradually. Nowadays, practical translation booms with the economic development and social progress in China. Translation is no longer ＂translation for translation＇s sake＂, i.e. the purpose is not necessarily to produce another discourse equivalent to the original, but to reach the predetermined effect. Practical translation teaching, in this sense, should be mainly based on Skopos theory, a more functionally and socioculturally oriented concept of translation.
