改革开放以后,由于工业化、产业结构调整和人口职业结构的改变,温州原有社会阶层结构出现了重大变动,一个新的、与第一次现代化相适应的社会阶层结构已经基本形成。变化了的温州的社会阶层结构与全国和其它地区相比,有着明显的“温州特色”。庞大的产业工人队伍和大量的商业服务人员,使得温州现阶段的社会阶层结构显现出较为突出的“实业型”特征。

After the implementation of reform and open-door policy, the original social class structure of Wenzhou has changed a lot because of the industrialization, the modification of industrial structure and the change of the professional structure, so a new social class structure which is consistent with the first modernization has been formed basically. Compared with the whole country and the other areas, the changed social class structure has a distinguishing ＂Wenzhou characteristic＂. The huge number of the industrial workers and the commercial service people make present social class structure in Wenzhou look more industrialized.
