Internationalization of Chinese Home Appliance Industry from Perspective of Diamond Theory

Micheal Porter的钻石理论是分析某一国家某一行业是否具有国际竞争优势及如何提升国际竞争力的重要理论工具.结合钻石理论,分析了我国比较具有国际竞争力的行业——家电业的国际化现状、要素禀赋、需求状况、相关产业和辅助产业的情况及公司的策略、结构和竞争,形成了我国家电业的“钻石体系”,并进一步总结了我国家电业国际化的竞争优势及启示.

Micheal Porter＇s diamond theory is an important theory tool to analyze whether one industry of a country has international competitive advantage or not. It is also used to analyze how to enhance the international competitiveness of an industry. With diamond theory, this paper analyzes the situation, element, demand of the internationalization, and auxiliary industry ：of home appliance industry, whose competitiveness is great in China. Then it analyzes the way to form the＇diamond system＇ of home appliance industry and summarizes the competitive advantage and inspiration of the internationalization of Chinese home appliance industry.
