As one of few outstanding comedies during the bureaucratic age in Europe, Moliere＇s The Hypocrite, a satirical comedy with reason evicting theocracy, corrected the malpractice with laugh, guided the audience to have a self-retrospection and see the false nature of enemies from the illiberal and crude behaviors of those funny characters; it is not light humor or silly jokes nor taking disgusting words as fun but it shows artistic moral effect of ＂quietness after clamor＂ and ＂extreme joy begetting sorrow＂. It shows sorrow and grief in reasonable perspective, highlights truth and therefore, it arrives at the verge of tragedy.
