2008北京奥运会对美澳潜在游客的吸引力和限制因素的研究

Research on the Attractions and Constraints for Potential Foreign Tourists in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

通过访谈和问卷的方法,对美国和澳大利亚的观看2008北京奥运会的潜在游客进行调查,旨在找出北京奥运会对美澳游客的真正吸引力和可能妨碍他们旅行到北京观看奥运会的限制因素,为对此感兴趣的组织和个人提供一定的信息,意识到从游客的角度来说北京奥运会的优势和可能存在的问题,采取相应的措施和市场宣传策略,从而创造一种和谐和适宜的人文环境,鼓励更多的游客前来观看北京奥运会。调查结果显示出大部分美澳游客对北京奥运会怀有好感,并认为“体验中国文化”和“现场观看奥运会”构成了北京奥运会的最主要吸引力,而限制因素中美澳游客最关心的是语言障碍、交通旅行困难和高花费问题,其次是对中国和北京缺乏了解、文化误解和安全问题。

By conducting a survey of questionnaire and interview, this research aims to find out the attractions of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the constraints that may prevent potential tourists, in order to provide information for organizations and people who are interested in Beijing Olympic Games. They will be aware of the strength and latent problems of Beijing Olympic Games in terms of tourists, so more efforts can be made to both highlight the attractions and improve humanistic environment, in order to encourage more tourist to travel in Beijing. The survey suggests that generally the respondents have a good feeling towards Beijing Olympics, and the factors of experiencing Chinese culture and the atmosphere of Games construct the primary attractions. Meanwhile, the language barrier, the perceived traveling difficulty within China and the high cost are the main constraints, followed by the lack of knowledge about China and Beijing, the misunderstanding of different cultures and security problem.
