古今学者对白居易《琵琶行》“枫叶荻花秋瑟瑟”之“瑟瑟”的解释,长期以来争论不已,形成了三种不同意见:或认为是形容“色之碧”,或认为是写“陨落貌”,或坚持认为是写萧瑟之声响。根据“案之本文而协,验之他卷而通”的训诂原则,经过分析与考察,可以确定“枫叶荻花秋瑟瑟”之“瑟瑟”系状声之词,是为正解。

How to explain the meaning of the word ＂SeSe＂in the verse ＂shuang ye di hua qiu se se＂of the poem PiBaXin , which is written by the great poet Bai Juyi who lived in Tang Dynasty, different scholars of ancient or modem times have different ideas. Acoording to these ideas, the meanings of the word given by the scholars can be divided into three cases： the first view is that it describes ＂the color of blue＂; the second is that it refers to ＂the description of falling＂; the third is that it describes ＂the sound of rustling＂. According to the rules of explanations of words in ancient books： harmony in context, coherence in books, we get the correct conclusion by comprehensively analyzing and studying that the meaning of the word ＂se se＂in the verse ＂shuang ye di hua qiu se se＂ is similar, which is used to describe the sound of rustling.
