Overall Evaluation of Dam Safety Based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process

基于多层次分析法建立了水库大坝安全综合评价的定量评价模型,阐述了层次分析法在水库大坝安全综合评价中的应用方法,并利用工程实际论述了这一方法的可行性,与现行规程的方法相比较,层次分析法除了能够得出量化的指标结论,使各工程的评价结论更具有可比性外,其能够通过权重考虑各专项指标在工程总体上的地位和作用,是水库大坝安全综合评价的一个值得发展的评价方法。

Based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process （AHP）, the article sets up a quantitative assessment model of dam safety overall evaluation, elaborates the application of AHP in the dam safety overall evaluation, and discusses the feasibility of the process with several engineering examples. Compared with the present specification method, AHP is able to evaluate the role of each special index in project besides obtaining the quantification conclusion of the index to make the appraisal conclusion more comparable. Therefore, AHP is a method that is worth developing in the dam safety assessment.
