知识经济时代,人力资源已成为影响西部民族地区经济发展的重要因素。就西部民族地区人力资源现状而言,存在人力资源结构不合理、人才总量不足、人才引进困难、人才流失严重等突出问题。大力发展西部民族地区的文化教育事业、建立科学合理的人才保障机制、建立完善的人力资源开发体系是该地区人力资源开发的有效途径。

In the time of Knowledge economy, human resource has already become an important factor of affecting the economic development of western national area. Concerning the issue of human resource situation in western national area, there still exist problems like unbalanced human resource structure, inadequate talents, difficult talent introduction and great talent lose. It will be the effective solution of human resource development if cultural and educational course is developed, rational talent guarantee system is established and human resource exploration system is optimized.
