长期以来对于昆虫精子的研究远落后于对卵子的研究,这主要是由于研究者将注意力集中在能够直接产生后代的雌虫上,而对精子的作用认识不足,从而未能引起应有的重视.而实际上在昆虫种群的繁衍过程中精子与卵子有着相同的重要性,为此想全面了解昆虫的生殖生理还必须加强对精子的研究。

The study of insect spermatozoa is far behind the ova for long time, It is mainly because the researchers concentrate more attention on the female insect that can product the posterity directly, but little on the function of the spermatozoa. Actually the spermatozoa and the ova have the same importance in the process of the insect population multiply, so the studies on the spermatozoa should be strengthened in order to understand the detail of the insect generative physiology.
