中国经济转型发展中的城镇贫困问题

The Poverty-related Problems in China's Cities in the Process of Economic Transition

为了弄清城镇贫困现状,本文界定了贫困标准,测算了总量贫困。结果发现:在经济转型时期,我国经济持续高速增长的背景下,城镇贫困的广度、深度和强度总体上呈上升的趋势。究其原因在于:城镇贫困实际上是受各种经济社会结构转型、制度转型以及对外开放等多方面因素共同作用而加剧的。因此,加速发展、深化改革,长期挑战城镇贫困是未来中国经济转型的一项艰巨任务。

In order to get a truthful picture of poverty-related problems in China's cities,the author of this paper defines the criteria of poverty and measures the total poverty.The conclusion is that in the process of economic transition when China's economy has been developing fast,the city poverty has been intensified in all aspects,whose causes are related to many factors like the transformation of socio-economic transformation and institutional reform as well as the further opening to the outside world.Thus,in future economic transformation China faces a serious task of quickening its development,carrying out reforms and solving the poverty-related problems in cities.
