摘要
目的探讨中国成年男性头发的生长特性。方法将31名志愿者头皮顶部及颞部各剃去约1.2 cm×1.2 cm范围内的头发;间隔7天后对上述部位微距照相,分析图像,得到头发密度及头发生长速度;拔取观察部位的头发,显微镜下测量头发尖端、中部及根部的直径。结果31例成年男性头发密度为(132±42)根/cm^2,顶部的头发密度显著高于颞部(P<0.001)。头发生长速度为(461±44)μm/d,颞部的头发生长速度显著高于顶部(P<0.01)。头发直径为(97±9)μm,顶部和颞部之间头发直径差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),头发尖端、中部及根部之间直径的差异亦无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论与白人和非洲人相比,中国成年男性头发的密度较低,但头发生长速度较快。
Objective To evaluate the hair growth characteristics of adult male Chinese. Methods Thirty-one voluntees were enrolled in the study. Two areas of 1.2 cm × 1.2 cm each were completely shaved on the vertex and temporal scalp, respectively. Seven days later, the target sites were photographed and plucked hair samples were collected. The parameters of hair growth, including hair density, hair growth rate, and. hair diameter, were obtained by photographic analysis and direct measurement under a microscope, respectively. Results The average scalp hair density was 132 ± 42/cm^2, and the hair density of the vertex scalp was significantly higher than that of the temporal scalp ( 167 ± 27/cm^2 vs 97 ± 16/cm^2, P〈 0.001 ). The mean scalp hair growth rate was 461 ± 44μm/d, and temporal scalp hair grew significantly faster than vertex scalp hair ( 475 ± 40μm/d vs 447 ± 44μm/d, P 〈 0.01 ). The mean hair diameter was 97 ± 9μm, and no significant difference was found in the hair diameter between the two regions ( 96 ± 9 μm vs 98 ± 10μm, vertex vs temporal, P〉 0.05 ). The hair at the root, middle, and tip showed no significant variations in mean diameter ( 97 ± 10μm, 96 ± 10μm, and 98 ± 9 μm, respectively; P 〉 0.05 ). Conclusion The results indicate that the scalp hair density is lower, whereas the scalp hair growth rate is higher in adult male Chinese than that in adult male Caucasian and African.
