Engineering level of equipment is the foundation of saving energy in the wood-based panels industry. The design details of energy-saving about dryer, pneumatic conveying unit and hydraulic unit were discussed. The essentiality of improving the engineering level of parlicleboard equipmen, improving the reliability of complete equipment for panel plants, increasing the capacity of single production lines, enhancing the quality of panels, intensifying the process research of panels were also emphasized for saving energy in the industry.
