Simple space is the embodiment of simplism in the field of architecture and interior design. As a style which is in accordance with the social actuality, simplism has become an important design trend. Simple space spurns the expensive and fussy characteristics of traditional design. Simple space doesn＇t mean abandon details, while it represents the more essential characteristics of space by means of the abstracted and sublimated details. This paper points out that the key role of detail design in the simple space should not be neglected, and illustrates the importance of details to simple space design.
