Research on Biological Characteristics of Taxus media

介绍了曼地亚红豆杉的分类地位及形态、生理、生化、组培、繁殖等生物学方面的特性。

Taxus media is a hybrid of Taxus.cuspidate Sieb.et.Zucc and Taxus.baccata L., which has the highest taxol content in its branches and leaves. After introduced into China, its taxol content hadn＇t declined, and some species even increased. Therefore, many researchers focused on Taxus media. In this text based on predecessor＇s research, biological characteristic of Taxus media was summarized including classification, shape, physiological functions, chemical functions, and breed. Reference for introducing, planting, further developing and utilizing of domestic Taxus media were provided. Meanwhile, the development prospect of Taxus media was studied.
