Huangjin Peasants' Uprising and Fangxiandao Culture of Shandong Peninsula

山东半岛是黄巾农民起义势头最大的地区。山东半岛深厚的方仙道文化,孕育了《太平经》的诞生。张角利用《太平经》,创立了太平道,同时依据《太平经》和太平道组织了黄巾起义。山东半岛是“太平道”最兴盛、道徒最多的地区,因而能够成为黄巾农民起义势头最大的地区。

Fangxiandao （in Chinese fang means horoscope, xian supernatural being and dao Taoism ） culture, for which Shandong Peninsula has been most famous for, helped give birth to Taiping Scripture, on the basis of which Zhang Jiao established Taiping Communion, and on the basis of the both of them organized Huangjin Peasants＂ Uprising. Naturally, Shandong Penisula was the area in which Taiping Communion was the most popular and in which the Huangjin Peasants＇ Uprising was the fiercest.
