On the Poems of Song Form on Objects by Poet Wang Shizhen

王士禛歌行体咏物诗所咏对象大体可以分为三类:文物、动植物和日用器物。咏文物古玩尚典实,咏动植物多生气,咏日用器物重情趣。他在对所咏之物进行从形相到神理的多层次摹写的同时,往往把人生的意气灌注其中,实践了其“不即不离,不粘不脱”的咏物规范。

The targets for the poems of song form on objects by Poet Wang shizhen can be divided into more or less three parts： cultrual relics, plants and animals, and untensils of everyday use. Poems on eultrural relies are full of allusions ; poems on plants and animals full of vigor and vatality ; poems on untensils of everyday use full of interest. Poet Wang depicted the objects in multilayer ways from the exterior looks to supernatural truths ,and at the same time he often imbued life temperament in them and practised his standards of chanting poems ——＂Neither closing nor leaving＂.
