This article is divided into three parts. Firstly, it, introduces the difficulties and actualities of livrary service innovation research. Secondly, it conceptualizes and analyzes library service innovation. Lastly, it describes the basic characteristics of library service innovation. Based on above discussion, readers can primarily grasp the research framework of library service innovation and form clear understanding of the concept and characteristics of library service innovation.
