摘要 Will Xu, a sales manager with Microsoft, only writes in English at the office. So do his other Chinese colleagues. "I dofft see any difference between writing in English and Chinese," said Xu. "We choose the easiest way to communicate with each other." The main reason for writing in English, Xu explains, is that their boss is a foreigner and it is necessary to use English when bringing up proposals or submitring reports. In offices of many foreign-invested companies, English has become the de facto language for communication.
