摘要 建构主义教学观与传统的教学观的根本区别在于对知识和教学主体作用的不同看法。建构主义教学理论强调学习的主动性、社会性和情景性,大学英语网络教学旨在建立以学生为主体、以语言应用技能训练为主要内容的新型教学模式。两者所主张和创造的学习环境相一致,建构主义教学理论对新的基于网络学习的大学英语教学的改革模式具有现实的指导意义。 The fundamental difference between constructivist teaching theory and the traditional teaching theory is their different viewpoints towards learning and the functions of learners in the process of learning. The former lays emphasis on the social - cultural aspect of learning. And the new Computer - based college English teaching pattern attaches importance to student - centered classroom with language application techniques as its primary teaching aim, which is in a good accordance with the constructivist teaching theory. So it is obvious that constructivist teaching theory has great implications for China' s English language teaching reform and the cultivation of creative English personnel.
