The basic compositions and properties of 100% solid-content elastic polyurethane coatings, elastic polyurea coatings and rigid polyurethane coatings are reviewed. Their application areas and conditions are introduced comprehensively. The importance of designing suitable coating formulation and selecting right construction system is pointed out.
