摘要
本文提出了一组可以由系统参数直接估算,具有任意电平数的PWM光纤系统抖动性能的计算公式。计算表明,四电平PWM光纤系统是抖动性能和电路复杂性的最佳折衷。与传统PCM光纤系统相比,PWM光纤系统不仅改善了误码性能,而且还具有较好的抖动性能。
General analytical expressions for evaluating the jitter, performance of a PWM fiber optic system with arbitrary levels and given system parameters are presented. The results of the calculation show that four-level PWM fiber optic system is the optimum compromise between jitter performance and circutray complexity. In comparison with a PCM fiber optic system, a PWM fiber optic system not only shows better errer performance but also exhibits superior jitter performance.
