摘要
根据以巴斯奈特和勒菲弗尔为代表的文化学派翻译理论对1940年傅东华所译的《飘》进行个案研究,从而证明文学翻译是特定历史、社会和文化语境中的重写,译者只能遵从于该语境的主导意识形态(观念网格)和诗学(文本网格)。个案研究将从观念层面和文本层面分析译本,并分析傅译产生的社会文化语境,以寻找译本遵从的网格及其缘由。
On the basis of the theories of Bassnett and Lefevere, the author carries out a case study of Fu Donghua's Chinese translation of Gone with the Wind in 1940 so as to examine translation as rewriting in historical, social and cultural context in which the translators have no choice but to conform to the dominant ideology and poetics (the textual and conceptual grids) in that context. The case study is made on conceptual and textual levels respectively. The contextual analysis mainly focuses on historical, social and cultural context of the translation with an attempt to find the conceptual and textual grids the translation conforms to.
