John Stuart Mill, one of the perfectionists on the utilitarianism ethics, inherites Betham＇ s thoughts with the criticism and the development of it. He establishes a series of theoretical discussion on Betham＇ s utilitarianism. This article tries to analyze how John Stuart Mill revises and develops utilitarianism ethics.
