摘要
十九世纪末,民族危机的加深使一部分具有维新思想的人士感到改革教育制度、培养适应时事需要的人才的重要性,李端棻便是其中的代表人物,其教育改革措施具体体现在《请推广学校折》中,该折得到光绪皇帝的认同并下谕令实行,这些措施的实施标志着中国近代教育的开端,其影响几乎贯穿整个中国近代社会。
At the end of 19th century, faced with the national crisis, Li Duanfen, as a representative of a group people with the new reforming and creative idea, realized the impoertance of developing schools and reported to Guan Xu Emperor. The Emperor ordered to carry out Li＇s measures, which is the symbol of the beginning of Chinese modem educational history.
