Research on Applying Open Source Technology in College Level Online Instruction

所谓开源技术,系基于开源的自由文化思想,采用开放和自由的协议和技术。本项研究旨在研发基于开源技术的开放式网络教学系统。本文探讨了开源思想以及开放式网络教学的思想,并结合实践,阐述了专科层次的开放式网络教学系统的体系结构、研究对象、拟解决的关键技术和实践效果。

Broad emphases are put on constructing open network course and online instruction. At the same time, the college level online instruction is underway, which requires special research because the college owes particularities in respects of course, instructional method and objects.Making use of liberalistic idea in Open Source Technology (OST) and its open and free protocol and technology, attempts are made in this research to integrate OST into college level online teaching, thus to explore the low-cost open online instruction system. It is expected that this system can fit the instructional need in college.Spending one year on using the open network system based on OST in instructional practice, the researches find that this system can not only improve learners' skill of using IT, convert their learning mode and attitude, but enrich the instructional environment and promote the equality between teachers and learners. It is also efficient in research-based instruction and helpful when cultivating learners with creation.
