摘要
根据医学图像信息相对集中的特点,提出一种基于DWT/DCT的医学图像感兴趣区域压缩方法:对图像感兴趣区域(ROI)采用DWT变换;对背景区(BG)采用DCT变换。既保证了医学图像的高效压缩,又使得压缩后的医学图像不会因重要信息的丢失而影响医学诊断。
Based on the characteristic of medical image that whose information relatively concentrate, an algorithm for ROL (region of interest ) compression of medical image based on combination of DWT and DCT is proposed. The ROL is processed with DWT, while the BC (background)is processed with DCT. This approach can assure a high compression ratio and a high quality of ROL in the medical image.
