In the third period the elements with 3 d atomic orbitals which are not filled by electrons have similar to their valence orbitals in energy level. Therefore these elements and their compounds have many special properties. This paper concluds their special properties, regularities, advances the effects of 3 d atomic orbitals and summarizs their primary appliances.
