Chinese and Western Sports Culture under the Background of Religion

现代体育是西方文明的产物,西方文明有着深厚的宗教基础。中国既然已经融会到现代体育的主流,就不能只图形似而不讲宗教述求。比较中西方体育与宗教的形成与发展,探求在人类文明发展的过程中二者相互作用关联互动的内在机理,将为我国体育的发展觅得一条崭新的思路。

Modern sport is the product of western civilization and the western civilization has solid religion foundations. Since China has joined the mainstream of modern sports, it can＇t be similar only in shape without concerning religious issue. Comparing the form and development of sports and religion between Western and Chinese and exploring the inherent principles of the two sides in the course of human development of civilization can lead China to find the new way to promote our soorts develooment.
