虽然经历年初的社会动荡和天灾人祸的剧痛，但菲律宾2006年政治社会稳定，人民安居乐业；经济继2005年5．1％的增长之后，创出5．4％的增长新高；外交政策取得进一步进展；文化交流得到进一步加强。在2006年平稳过渡的基础上，2007年将是菲律宾在政治、经济、文化、外交和社会等各方面大有转机、充满希望的一年。
At ,the beginning of 2006, what happened in Philippine worried the world. Besides the natural and man-made disaster, Philippine suffered from the great disturbance. However, after that, the country received a steady society and therefore gained an increase of GDP in economy. Prospecting the new year, Philippine is expected to welcome in a steady situation and certainly receive a harvest in economy in 2007.
