摘要
文章提出一种渐变截面型圆波导H_(01)~°H_(11)~°波型变换器,并采用有限元分析的方法,结合耦合波理论,对变换器进行了理论分析。计算结果表明,器件具有低插损和宽频带等优点。实验也证实了本文理论的正确性。在32.5—37.5GHz频率范围内,变换器的损耗低于0.8dB,输入驻波比低于1.2。
A new tapered type of circular waveguide H01oH11o mode converter is presented. By using the coupled-mode theory and finite element method, the converter properties are analysed. Calculated results show that the converter has good properties with low insertion loss and broad frequency bandwidth. The measurements of the converter sample are also described in 8mm band. The insertion loss is less than 0.8 dB and the VSWR is less than 1.2.
