China Marine Bunker's 35-year development

1972．1．19中华人民共和国商业部、燃料化学工业部、对外贸易部和交通部联名向国家计委提出《关于解决外轮燃料供应的请示》。提出，将外轮供油工作由商业部移交给交通部负责。

April 1, 2007 will be the 35th anniversary for the establishment of China Marine Bunker (PetroChina) Co., Ltd. (China Marine Bunker). The company's growth represents the development of China's coastal refueling at sea, and exerts great impact upon the field of China's coastal refueling at sea. In 2007, China Marine Bunker has hit a historic record for its profit, making great contributions to the national economic development. After dozens of years' efforts, the company has grown from a small company with several hundred employees and over 10 ships into China's largest sea refueling company with over 30 domestic and foreign companies, over 4,000 employees in position, and RMB2 billion of total asset. For 35 years, the company has paid several billion yuan of profit tax for the country. Especially in 2003, China Marine Bunker conducted multiplication system reform for investment principals, bringing the company in a new starting point for integrated development.
