Orientation for oil and gas economy development in Karamay should transform from a mineral type city with oil as main resource to modern city with multiple development.In this area,oil and gas economic development should stress strategies of dominant mineral resources transformation,seek breakthrough of exploration,strengthen construction of nationally designated petrochemical industrial base and make coordinated development between petroleum enterprises and local economy.
