摘要
抗战时期,田汉在桂林居住了整整四年,作为桂林文化城的戏剧魂,其戏剧活动对中国文坛和中国社会产生了深远影响。田汉旅桂时期的戏剧创作准确地把握了当时的社会精神情绪;田汉所进行的戏剧改革紧密地配合了抗战需要;他的“一诚可以救万恶”的统战思想尽可能地团结了一切可团结之人;而影响最深远的一点是:他刷新了当地人的戏剧审美习惯,帮助更多的中国人完成了从地域、乡土意识到民族意识的转化,逐步完成了对现代民族国家的认同。
This paper describes how during the war of resistance against Japanese aggression Tian Han influenced profoundly Chinese stage and society with his dramatic works, which astutely touched the pulse of the hearts of many and served the needs of the war. The significance of his work at this period changed the local way of play-going and helped many Chinese change their minds from provincialism to nationalism to the effect of their greater affinity with China as a modem nation state.
