From Center to Periphery——On the Male Image in Contemporary Feminine Literature

在以男性为中心的父权制社会里,男子汉是女人的保护者、主心骨和人生的靠山,这样的观念经代代相传而成为一种女性的“集体无意识”。在新时期女性主义文学中,这种传统观念遭到挑战,男性逐渐从女性世界的中心地位移居边缘。本文通过对男性地位变化的分析,论述了我国新时期女性意识的变革和女性文学的进步。

In a patriarchal society dominated by males, men are women＇s protectors, supporters, and anchors of life. This concept, which has been passed on from generation to generation, has become collective unconsciousness. In today＇s feminine literatures,this traditional concept has been challenged, and males gradually retrogress from center to periphery in women＇s world. By analyzing the variations of the status of men,this article discussed the transformation of the female consciousness, as well as the advancement of feminine literatures in modem China.
