从“五老上书”论坚持中医教育的主体性

Remarks on the principal part nature of Chinese medicine education by "the letter from five well-known scholars"

针对当时中医教育存在的偏差,“五老上书”是对坚持中医教育主体性的一次努力。在今天的现实环境下,坚持中医教育主体性尤为迫切和重要。中医与传统文化有着非常密切的关系,中医教育主体性离不开传统文化的支撑,应重视传统文化,如加强医古文的学习;在中医传统教育有可能被淡化、边缘化的情况下,要保证中医学习的时间和力度,注重经典的学习。总之,坚持中医教育主体性是中医传承与健康发展的重要前提。

Aiming at the problems in Chinese medicine education at that time, ＂the letter from five well-known scholars＂ was an effort to keep the principal part nature of Chinese medicine education. Presently it is especially urgent and important for us to stick to this nature. There is very close connection between Chinese medicine and traditional culture, education of Chinese medicine should be therefore closely connected with traditional culture. Traditional culture should be stressed. For example, study of ancient medical literature should be enhanced. Under the present situation where traditional culture of Chinese medicine may not be stressed enough, we should allot enough time and energy for study of ancient classics. In one word, sticking to the principal part nature of Chinese medicine education is an important precondition for carrying forward and healthy development of Chinese medicine cause.
