披文仰贤 观字赏心——赏读明代状元赵秉忠《山其山集·自叙》

Admiring the Worthy Person through His Writing Appreciating the Remarkable Mind in His Words——On Reading "Qishan Anthology Preface" by Zhao Bingzhong(A Number One Scholar of Ming Dynasty)

明代状元赵秉忠的《山其山集.自叙》用作者的草体手书印制。本文对《自叙》用正楷按原文转行排版,详加注释,译成现代文,并根据作者当时的处境和遭遇,对《自叙》的内容进行了探幽索隐的尝试。

The original yersion of ＂Qishan Anthology Preface＂ is in cursive script in Chinese calligraphy by Zhao Bingzhong, who is the Number One Scholar（ the title was conferred on the one who came first in the highest imperial examination） in Ming Dynasty of ancient China. The paper composes the Preface in regular script in Chinese calligraphy of modem Chinese writing pattem--- from top to bottom（in ancient China, the writing pattem was from right to left）, adds detailed explanation to it and translates the ancient Chinese version in modem Chinese. In this paper, according to the situation of that era and Zhao＇ s personal stories, the author tries to make further researches on the content of the Preface.
