东西是广西文坛一位颇具灵性的作家,其作品带有强烈的现代主义风格。大多数评论家关注东西,多是关注他作品中深厚的思想底蕴和独到的艺术创作手法。本文以他的长篇小说《耳光响亮》为范本,透过文本细读,探求作品中独到的叙述特色和精神追求。

Dongxi is a talented writer from Guangxi Province. His novels have strongly modemist- style. When commenting on his novels, most critics pay attention to his deep thoughts and particular writing- techniques showed in his works. Using one of his novels ＇A Slap in The face ＇as an example, however, this paper tries to find his unique narration feature and spiritual pursuit through the detail explanation of the text.
