Multimedia English teaching not only adds new energy to the traditional English classroom, but also brings about great changes to English teachers＇ job. Here the author tries to analyze the role of English teachers in the new environment and points out English teachers should be learners, researchers, designers, organizers and facilitators in order to make full use of the advantages of modem teaching technology and improve the students＇ ability in applying English to the greatest extent.
