摘要
利用V形切口尖端附近的线弹性奇异应力场,建立了单奇异性V形切口的脆性断裂准则,并用脆性材料有机玻璃PMMA加工单边对称V形切口试样,进行拉伸破坏实验,对I型V形切口临界应力的理论预测值和实验结果进行了比较。结果表明所给出的单奇异性V形切口的脆性断裂准则有效、简单且便于工程应用。
The brittle fracture criterion for V-notches with single singularity was proposed by means of singular stress fields near the sharp V-notch in the context of linear elasticity. Tensile rupture experiments were carried out using single-edged V-notched specimens made out of brittle material: polymethyl metacrylate (PMMA). The predicted critical stress for mode I V-notches was compared with the experiment result. The findings indicate that the brittle fracture criterion for V-notches with single singularity is valid and simple, so it can be applied to engineering conveniently.
