New Protocol over Ad Hoc:Multi-Flow Real-Time Transport Protocol

摘要 在Ad Hoc网络中传输多媒体数据会受到网络拓扑变化和无线信道干扰的限制。多流实时传输协议MRTP(multi—flow real—time transport protocol)是一种可以分配和传输多个视频数据流的新协议。它结合多描述编码和多径传输。能提高无线对等网络上视频传输的效率和质量。 Transporting real-time multimedia data over Ad Hoc networks is a challenging problem. A wireless link has higher transmission error rate and user mobility makes the network topology constantly change. In this paper, we propose a new transport protocol to support multipath transport of real-time data. The new protocol, called muhi-flow real-time transport protocol (MRTP), provides a convenient vehicle for real-time applications to partition and transmit data using multiple flows. Using MRTP with multiple descriptions coding (MDC)and multipath transport can improve the delivery of video streaming over wireless P2P network.
