通过对清代中前期苏州工业行业人口的职业构成进行的分析,证明了以苏州为中心的江南地区选择的是以“超轻结构”为特点的早期工业化道路；封建小农经济在整个经济结构中已失去绝对支配地位,从而为江南地区率先开始社会转型奠定了必需的物质基础。

Analysing the industrial occupational structure of the urban population in Suzhou in the early time of the Qing Dynasty, the atricle tries to prove that the style of the industrial development in Suzhou standing for Jiangnan Area is really similar to the process of the Industrialization before Industrialization focusing on Light - Industry. At last the whole economy no longer depends on feudal farm economy from then on, and lays the essential foundation of the transformation of social inner structure.
